U-20 defeats Botafogo once again and reaches its fourth victory in the Brazilian Championship
Playing against a Botafogo team that came only to defend itself, Garotos do Ninho won with a goal from Noga and reached fifth place.

In a classic match held on Monday afternoon (19) at Gávea Stadium, and valid for the sixth round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, the Garotos do Ninho beat Botafogo again this season by 1-0 (Gabriel Noga), a score that gave justice to the only team that entered the field willing to win the game, since the opponent came only to defend itself. It was the fourth red-black victory in the first six rounds of the championship, a campaign that gives Mais Querido the fifth place. In the next round, Mengão travels to Fortaleza, where they face Ceará, on Sunday. Before that, on Thursday (22) at 10 am, a classic against Vasco, for the Guanabara Cup. The game
Flamengo started the derby with more possession and more attacking presence, but without creating many clear-cut scoring chances. The first came in the 20th minute, when Yuri de Oliveira crossed the ball. Goalkeeper Lucas Barreto made a good save in two attempts, preventing a goal for Flamengo. In the 27th minute, Luan made a beautiful individual play and crossed for Yuri de Oliveira, who fired a low shot. The ball was headed toward goal, but the defense cleared it just as it was already past the goalkeeper.
Mengão continued to create good opportunities. In the 32nd minute, Ryan Luka received the ball well positioned inside the box, but his shot went weak and wide of the Botafogo goal, in the last dangerous play of the first half.
The Mais Querido continued to attack in the second half. In the 12th minute, Ryan Luka attempted a bicycle kick inside the box, but the ball went wide of Lucas Barreto's left. In the 19th minute, Luan crossed, and Ryan Luka's header was deflected by the defense. The Garotos do Ninho kept pressing, and the red-and-blacks finally scored the winning goal in the 38th minute, with a header from defender Noga, giving justice to the only team that played to win the game.
