With goals from Lázaro, Matheus Alves and Max, Flamengo's U-20 team, led by coach Mauricio Souza, achieved a very important 3-2 victory over Goiás, in a match played this Sunday afternoon (18) at the Hailé Pinheiro Stadium, in Goiânia. With the victory, the Mais Querido continues its recovery in the Brazilian Championship, achieving its second consecutive victory and climbing the table. At the moment, Rubro-Negro is just two points away from the classification zone, and hosts Cruzeiro, in Gávea, next Sunday. Before that, on Thursday at 19 pm and broadcast by SporTV, another clash against the same Goiás, this time valid for the first leg of the round of XNUMX of the Copa do Brasil, hosted by Mengão. 

Just two minutes into the game, Flamengo created their first chance. João Pedro burst into the box at speed and passed to Lázaro, who fired a first-time shot over the Goiás goal. Goiás responded in the 18th minute with Marinho. João Fernando closed the corner well and made a great save, palming the ball out for a corner. Flamengo attacked more and opened the scoring in the 21st minute. Richard Rios drove down the right flank and crossed into the box. The Rubro-Negro were the better team, but Goiás equalized in the 32nd minute with Lucas.

The Mais Querido (the most beloved team) didn't give up and quickly regained the lead. In a well-constructed play, Max, who had just come on for Matheus Alves, initiated the attack with a beautiful switch of play to Lázaro.
