Flamengo's under-20 soccer team, led by coach Zé Ricardo, leaves this Wednesday (12.08) for São José dos Campos where they will face Palmeiras. The match will be valid for the fifth round of the second phase of the Brazilian Junior Championship, this Thursday (13.08), at 20 pm. The match will be broadcast by ESPN.

In the third round, Flamengo beat Vasco 1-0 in Los Larios last Wednesday (05.08), and is one point behind the group leader, Fluminense, who has 10 points. After the match against Alviverde, Rubro-Negro faces Tricolor Carioca, next Wednesday (19.08), at 15 pm, in Gávea. The final will be played on August 26 and September 2, by the first placed team in each group.

The team returns to Rio de Janeiro after the game to concentrate on the final of the Rio Cup, on Sunday (16.08), at 11 am, at the Nilton Santos Stadium (Engenhão).
