On July 30th and 31st (Thursday and Friday), the Under-20 team underwent physical examinations, resting electrocardiograms, and Covid-19 testing (RT-PCR (nasal swab) + serological IgM and IgG) at the George Helal Training Center.

In total, 78 tests were conducted among athletes and coaching staff. One person tested positive for Covid-19 and will be isolated from activities for two weeks as a preventative measure. Five other people had recent contact with the virus and will also be isolated and under observation. All six are being monitored daily and will be re-examined and retested upon their return.

The rest of the squad will report back this Monday (3) for the resumption of activities and preparation for the Carioca Championship, the Brazilian Championship and the Copa do Brasil.

Athletes and staff will be tested weekly.
