Flamengo's youth team embarks on Tuesday (24.07) to compete in the II CEU Cup, in Ubá, Minas Gerais. The second edition of the competition will be held during the week and has four teams fighting for the title: Flamengo (RJ), Itararé (MG), América (RJ) and Instituto JuizForano (MG). 

Trained by former striker Gilmar, the Flamengo boys will debut in the Cup against the Itararé team, on Wednesday (25.07), at 20:30 pm.

"Expectations for the competition are very high. We have great athletes, and competitions like these are very important for player development. Everyone always wants to beat Flamengo, and we're going to assert ourselves to bring another title to Gávea," said the coach.

The CEU Cup began to be held last year to field players born up to 1998 and 1999.
