Flamengo's youth goalkeeper coach, Ivan Garcez, will coordinate a course at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) to develop and qualify goalkeeper coaches. Having been with Flamengo since 2008, Ivan participated in the first editions of the national meeting and was one of the organizers. Following the event's success, he was elected president of the Brazilian Association of Goalkeeper Coaches, established in 2013.

The course will be divided into four parts, consisting of theoretical and practical classes; the first will be on April 26th, Goalkeeper's Day. Ivan will discuss the importance of this pioneering event and the importance of furthering goalkeeper training in Brazil. Those interested in participating can register here. using this link.
