Flamengo's under-20 team took to the field this Friday (10.12) looking for a victory that could guarantee the team in the next phase of the Brazilian Under-20. However, they drew 1-1 with Atlético-GO, and now go into the last round of the competition needing to beat Atlético-MG to qualify in first or second place in Group A for the final phase of the championship.

But coach Paulo Henrique was pleased with the performance of the young Flamengo talents. According to him, the team from Gávea performed well and, in short, all that was missing was getting the ball in. Throughout the match, Flamengo created many scoring chances but failed to convert them.

"All that was missing was the goal," he summarized.

The red-black commander believes that what is needed now is to keep his head up and fight to beat Atlético in the last round of this qualifying phase and seek a place in the quarter-finals.

"We're going to prepare and talk over the rest of the week, because we need a victory to qualify," he concluded.
