The Brazilian under-15 soccer team, which will compete in the South American Championship in Uruguay from November 17 to December 4, will feature three Flamengo players. Goalkeeper Thiago, defender Lincoln and midfielder Caio Rangel were confirmed by coach Marquinhos Santos to make up the 20-man squad that will seek its third title in the Championship, as Brazil was champion in 2005 and 2007. The boys who are part of Flamengo's youth team are already concentrated at Granja Comary with the rest of the squad and will travel to the competition venue next Tuesday (15/11).

In this edition of the South American Championship, the U-15 team is in Group B. The opener will be against Colombia on November 18th; the second game will be against Peru on the 20th, followed by Bolivia on the 24th and Paraguay on the 26th. Group A consists of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The top two teams from each group qualify for the final stage. The champion will emerge from a four-way bracket in which all teams face each other.

International Tournament in Miami

In addition to the team competing in the South American Championship, Brazil will also participate in another competition with a squad also made up of under-15 players in the United States, and Flamengo will once again be present. In the tournament, which will be held in Miami, Flamengo full-back Ian Pereira will be part of the group led by coach Emerson Ávila.

The delegation's presentation is scheduled for November 18th. On the 27th of the same month, the team will travel to make its debut in the competition on the 30th, against Turkey. Next up, the opponent will be France on December 2nd. Finally, to round out the schedule, the match will be against the home team on the 4th.
