In a trial held on October 29, the Sports Justice Court (TJD) prioritized strict compliance with the regulations of the U-15 State Championship and punished Vasco, with the loss of six points, due to the Cruzmaltino club having violated the Specific Regulation of the Competition, in its article 24.
Vasco's irregular act was to field Douglas Luiz Soares de Paulo against Olaria on October 5th. The player should have served an automatic suspension for receiving three yellow cards and should not have entered the field.
By fielding Douglas Luiz, Vasco also violated Article 214 of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD). The penalty keeps Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in contention for the Taça Rio title, the second round of the U-15 State Championship.
