In another stage, the project “Campo dos Sonhos – Jogaremos Juntos” held a new selection this Tuesday (13) in the Turano community, in the North Zone of RJ, to evaluate more than one hundred boys and girls with talent for football who live in the region. The initiative, organized by the Social Responsibility and Youth Football departments, is due to the partnership between Flamengo and the Sub-Prefecture of Grande Tijuca.

Mengão idol and project ambassador, former player Andrade was present at the event, which included donations of sports equipment from the club to “Gaviões de Ouro”, a social project that works with children and teenagers in the community.

In addition to recruiting promising young athletes, "Campo dos Sonhos - Jogaremos Juntos" also provides training for educators who use soccer as a tool for social inclusion for children and young people living in communities. The project uses socio-emotional learning through a methodology that fosters values such as resilience, perseverance, and self-confidence, rooted in the club's core values.
