In the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, Flamengo beats Náutico and secures a place in the quarterfinals

On the afternoon of last Saturday (14.12), at the Passo D'Areia Stadium, in Porto Alegre (RS), Flamengo beat Náutico, 3-1, and secured first place in group B. With nine points, the team secured its place in the quarterfinals of the Brazilian U-20. The red-black goals were scored by Darlan (2) and Cafu.
"We started off poorly, a bit apathetic, and Naútico ended up making it 1-0. Then, we had a great comeback and turned the score around to 2-1 before halftime. In the second half, the Flamengo boys dedicated themselves to qualifying, and the third goal ended up happening. Our atmosphere is very good, and the players are trying really hard," said coach Celso Martins.
The Mais Querido's next opponent in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship will be Palmeiras, second place in group D. The quarter-final game takes place on the 16th, this Monday, at 15 pm, at the Antonio Vieira Ramos Stadium.
