See what the next challenges are for the red-black youth team

Under-20, under-19 and under-16 categories have commitments this week

From late February to early March, the youth teams of the red-and-black soccer team have scheduled matches for the Guanabara Cup and the Sebastião Leônidas Tournament. Check it out:

Sub-20
The juniors return to the field this Wednesday (24), at 15:30 pm, at Correão, in Cabo Frio, against Cabofriense, for the Guanabara Cup. In the last round, Flamengo beat Fluminense 1-0, with a goal from Lucas Paquetá, from a penalty, in Laranjeiras. After tomorrow's match, Rubro-Negro faces Resende, for the 7th round of the Guanabara Cup.
The match will be in Gávea, at 15:30 pm, Saturday (27).

Sub-17
The Sebastião Leônidas Tournament, organized by Botafogo, will take place from February 20th to March 6th at Caio Martins and CEFAT (Botafogo's Youth Training Center in Niterói) for the under-19 and under-16 categories. Flamengo will compete in both with its youth team, comprised of athletes born in 2000 and 1999. In the under-19 games, matches consist of two 45-minute halves; in the under-16 games, two 40-minute halves. Besides Mais Querido, Boavista, Botafogo, and Sampaio Corrêa are also competing. The team that accumulates the most points in a single round wins three points for each win and one point for each draw.

In the under-16 games, Flamengo debuted against Sampaio Corrêa at Caio Martins Stadium on the 21st, winning 3-0 with goals from Yuri, Lincoln, and Marx Lenin. The second round will be against Boavista at CEFAT Stadium on the 27th at 9 a.m. Next, the boys face Botafogo at Caio Martins Stadium on March 5th at 9 a.m. In the under-19 games, Flamengo also won their debut, 4-2, with goals from Vinicius (2), David, and Pablo. Their next opponents will be the same as those for the under-16s: Boavista and Botafogo, at the same venues, at 11 a.m.
