Aiming for its season debut, Flamengo U-20 beat Madureira 2-0 in a training match
Flamengo U-20 debuts in the U-20 Carioca Championship, on May 15th, against Botafogo, in Gávea.

The first friendly match of the new Flamengo U-20 season started positively. On Saturday morning (24), the Ninho Boys beat Madureira 2-0, in Gávea. The goals were scored by Yuri de Oliveira and Weverton.
Commander Mauricio Souza celebrated the team's good performance after a strong preseason:
"For the first friendly, I liked it. We put a lot of what we've been working on into practice. We're playing a team that plays man-to-man, which changes our style of play a bit, but I really liked the team's performance. We'll adjust the team even further so we're prepared for the competitions," the coach reported.
Yuri de Oliveira, who scored the opening goal in the training match, also spoke about the match:
"We played a very well-focused game, we accomplished what we had to accomplish tactically and it was important to win to start the season well," concluded the midfielder.
Flamengo U-20s debut in the U-20 Carioca Championship on May 15th against Botafogo in Gávea. The Garotos do Ninho's matches in the Carioca Championship will be broadcast on FlaTV.
