Victory over Cruzeiro had participation of 11 youth players

Carlos Noval, director of the club's youth football team, says that the opportunities offered to the youngsters are the culmination of a collaborative effort.
"Preparing athletes for the professional stage is our main function. Bringing these athletes to the club's professional team is the culmination of a successful effort. Flamengo has a strong integration between the youth and professional teams, and the entire development process is planned jointly between departments. This work currently shows that it is possible for players to make the transition from the youth team to the professional stage with the technical, physical, and psychological preparation needed to achieve the expected results. This is the work being developed in all youth categories," he explained.
