Flamengo's under-20 team returned on Monday afternoon to Ninho do Urubu, to carry out the final part of preparation for this Wednesday's match against Coritiba, at Couto Pereira, for the fifth round of the second phase of the Brazilian Championship. 

Needing only a draw against Coxa to secure their place in the semifinals, Flamengo will be missing at least four key players from its starting lineup. Full-back Klebinho and midfielder Hugo Moura are suspended after receiving their third yellow card, full-back Michael is on professional duty, and goalkeeper Hugo Souza, who is with the Brazilian national team in the United States, will not be available in time for the match against Coritiba. 

Despite the competition for starting positions remaining open, the final training session will take place this Tuesday, and Yago Darub is certain to be in goal. Just as he was in this year's Copinha, when he was the third-choice goalkeeper and with the absences of Gabriel Batista and Hugo Souza, who had to fill the senior squad in the Carioca, he became the starter and, with strong performances in decisive moments, helped the team win its fourth title in the most important competition on the youth team calendar. This Wednesday, the young goalkeeper returns to defend the red-and-black goal in a crucial moment.

"Once again, I'm returning to a decisive stage. Professor Nielsen always tells us to be prepared regardless of the moment, because an opportunity can arise. And that's what happened. Hugo was absent again, and now I'm training this week focused on putting in a great performance and securing our spot in the semifinals."

This Wednesday's match is crucial for Flamengo's hopes, as they could qualify for the semifinals for the first time. Flamengo leads Group F with 9 points, followed by Coritiba, who has 6 and is in second place. Yago emphasized the need to win the match to accumulate more points and qualify without any problems. 

"We have to go in with a completely attacking mindset, regardless of the advantage we have in being able to draw the game. We have to think about always winning, and that's what we have to do: score lots of goals and try to win the match to have that extra point."

Coach Marcio Torres' team travels Tuesday after training to face Coritiba on Wednesday at Couto Pereira Stadium at 15 p.m. The match will be broadcast on Globoesporte.com.
