Defender Weverson signs contract to reinforce Flamengo's under-20 team.
The athlete played for Cuiabá, will turn 18 in August, and will be eligible to play in his category until 2028.
By Communication - inDefender Weverson is the newest addition to Flamengo's under-20 team. The Rubro-Negro acquired the rights to the player, who played for Cuiabá, in a deal that did not involve costs. After passing the medical exams, he signed a contract, lasting until March 31, 2029, this Friday (17), at CT George Helal.
Born in Brusque-SC, Weverson will turn 18 on August 19th and can play for the under-20 team until 2028. Left-footed, he arrives to join the Flamengo under-20 squad and is already participating in training sessions at Ninho do Urubu.
Flamengo is competing in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship and will face Fluminense next Wednesday (22), at 15 pm, at Estádio José Bastos Padilha, in Gávea, for the seventh round of the competition. So far, Flamengo is in seventh position, with 10 points.
