The preseason in Pinheiral, which continues strong on its second day, isn't the only new development for Mengão this week. A regular fixture in the Argentine national team and a standout name in Brazilian women's soccer in recent seasons, Agustina is the club's newest signing. The defender arrived in Rio, underwent medical examinations, and immediately traveled to the south of Rio de Janeiro state, where she reported to the coaching staff and is available. 

Known for her technical quality, the defender has competed in the Copa América and the Pan American Games three times, as well as the World Cup twice. With a resume that speaks for itself, the athlete is versatile, very feisty, and has the profile that the Biggest Fanbase in the World likes. Sheriff chose number 22 and promised to work hard to help the Red-Blacks achieve their goals in 2023.
