Flamengo/Marinha remains 100% in the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. On Sunday afternoon (18), the girls faced São José at the José Bastos Padilha stadium, in Gávea, and won 1-0. Author of the penalty goal in the last minute, Larissa celebrated the result and her first goal in the competition.

Searching for goals from the start, the Mais Querido struggled to open the scoring against the current Copa do Brasil runner-up. "We've played against them before and know how strong São José is. We knew it would be a tough match. But we fought until the end and never gave up. We managed to put on the pressure and scored in the end," commented Larissa.

In the 49th minute of the second half, Diany entered the box and ended up winning a penalty, which was converted by the number 11. The late goal keeps Flamengo/Marinha with a 100% record and two wins. "It's always very important to score a goal, and when it's in a victory like this, a 1-0 victory, it takes on an even greater significance. I was very happy to score and give our team the victory in the end," celebrated the forward.

Despite the rain, the Red and Black Nation turned out for the game and cheered the girls on throughout the 90 minutes. "It's always good to have people in the stadium supporting women's soccer; we know it's still slowly making progress in Brazil. We're very happy when the fans show up," he said.
