Flamengo is already in intense preparation for the start of the Brazilian Women's Under-18 Championship and the Carioca Championship. To this end, the coaching staff, led by coach Marcos Gaspar, continues to carry out intense training with the group of 22 athletes, all selected in the trials held by the club. This Friday (31), the group went to the George Helal Training Center, Ninho do Urubu, to officially sign the contracts, a lecture and the Media Day.
With the presence of each player's guardians, the new Meninas da Gávea (Girls of Gávea) toured the structure of the module that now houses the youth teams. Beforehand, Flamengo professionals and the Vice President of Youth Football, Vitor Zanelli, spoke with them in the auditorium.
Afterwards, they proceeded to sign the contracts, which follow all legal regulations and procedures already implemented with the Rubro-Negro youth players. Meanwhile, Media Day was also held, featuring the traditional photos of the squad in their game uniforms.
It's worth remembering that Mais Querido is in heavy preparation for the season's tournaments, which are scheduled to start in July.
