Scorer of two goals, Larissa celebrates the result and analyzes the next phase
Flamengo/Marinha striker was decisive in the victory of the last round of the Brasileirão
By Mariana Sá* - inLarissa was named the best player in the last Brazilian Women's Football Championship and was the top scorer for the Mais Querido team in the competition. In 2017, she remains a key player for Ricardo Abrantes' team, even though she's not in the starting eleven.
On Wednesday afternoon (30), Flamengo/Marinha beat Vitória 3-0 in the last round of the first phase of the Brazilian Championship, and is now preparing to face Iranduba-AM in the quarterfinals. Scoring two goals, Larissa reached ten with the Manto Rubro-Negro in two seasons.
"Scoring goals again is always good. I started playing at the beginning of the championship and was on the bench, but I managed to return as a starter in this game and I'm very happy to have scored two goals," said Larissa.
The forward also analyzed the match against Vitória. "We came here with the idea of first seeing what the opposing team's stance would be. We were positioned deeper. Then we saw that it was possible to go out and play, and fortunately, we got the result," she commented.
"The next few games will be tougher, but we're ready to face whoever comes our way. The team is very strong and we have what it takes to reach the grand final," concluded the top scorer.
