Goalkeeper signs and opens her heart: “Being at Flamengo is a personal achievement”
By Flamengo Communication - in
Flamengo's eighth women's soccer signing for the season is a promising prospect with a lot of potential for development: goalkeeper Bibi, who played for Vasco for the last three years and stood out, especially in 2023. She signed a contract and is already part of the group's preseason in Pinheiral, in the south of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Born in Rondônia, Bibi began playing soccer with her family and attended pre-season soccer school until she was evaluated at Ferroviária. She then played for América Mineiro and Joinville before arriving in Rio de Janeiro, where she stayed longer, gained prominence, and was even called up to the U-20 national team. Aware of the responsibility, the new Menina da Gávea showed enthusiasm.
"Being at Flamengo is a personal achievement, and my expectations are high, so I'm incredibly happy. I hope it's a season of titles and many achievements with the Manto Sagrado," commented the athlete, who is also old enough to represent the U-20 category.
