Another major addition to Flamengo's women's squad is Fabi Simões, who was with Santos last season. The 34-year-old right-back has several years of experience with the Brazilian national team and will undoubtedly bring experience and quality to the squad led by coach Maurício Salgado.

A native of Salvador, Bahia, the player started out at Bahia's youth academy and, in 2006, passed a tryout at América-RJ.
