Mengão continues to strengthen its squad for the 2024 season. The fourth player to join the club is 30-year-old center forward Glaucia, who also played for São Paulo. In 2019, while playing for Santos, she was named one of the best forwards in the country with 19 goals and 18 assists.

Born in São Paulo's East Zone, Glaucia began her career at São Bernardo and quickly earned a spot in the starting lineup. In 2011, she joined Centro Olímpico, finishing as runner-up in the São Paulo State Championship. Alongside Debinha, she was the competition's top scorer with 24 goals.

At 19, her strong performances caught the attention of South Korean club Jeonbuk. The center forward returned to Brazilian football in 2013. Back at the Olympic Center, she later transferred to São Caetano. Glaucia also played for São José, Iranduba, and Sport before returning to Korea, playing for KSPO, in 2018. With the Korean team, she was the team's top scorer and third-highest scorer in the country's league.

The following year, the forward returned to Brazil to play for Santos, where she had a great season and was named one of the country's top forwards. Last year, Glaucia played in the Brasileirão for São Paulo and was a standout performer.

"I'm happy with the agreement with Flamengo for the season. Representing the nation is an honor; it's one of the biggest clubs in the world, with a huge fan base. May 2024 be a year of many achievements and may we celebrate many goals together," he said.
