Flamengo/Marinha will face, this Thursday (6), at 15:30 pm, Rio Preto, current leader of Group 2. To stay in the fight for first place and get closer to the opponent, Mais Querido will go to the Anísio Haddad stadium, in São José do Rio Preto (SP), to repeat the decision of the last Brazilian Women's Football Championship, when it was crowned champion.
Flamengo currently sits in third place with nine points, with three wins and two losses. "Mais Querido" is three points behind Santos and six behind Rio Preto, who are undefeated so far.
Re-edition of the 2016 Brasileirão final
This will be the teams' first meeting since the last Brazilian Championship final. Last year, Flamengo lost 1-0 in Rio de Janeiro and took the final to São José do Rio Preto, defeating the hosts 2-1 and becoming national champions.
Runner-up in the last Brasileirão Feminino, Rio Preto has not yet lost in the tournament and has five wins in five games.
