Caroline Matos is Flamengo/Marinha's first signing for the season. The 22-year-old midfielder arrives to compete in the Brazilian Championship and Carioca Championship, and is also available to join the squad for the Military World Games. She was signed from 3B da Amazônia, where she had a successful run.

Matos was born on August 14, 1996, in Torres, Rio Grande do Sul. Having played for Criciúma, Botafogo-PB, Tiradentes, Ferroviária, Kindermann, and 3B da Amazônia, she won the Santa Catarina title and even defended the Brazilian U-20 team, becoming South American champion in 2015.

Flamengo/Marinha returned to training this Monday and is conducting its first assessments of the season at the Almirante Adalberto Nunes Physical Education Center (CEFAN). The Brazilian Championship debut is scheduled for March 17.
