This Wednesday afternoon (2) was a great victory for Flamengo/Marinha. Against Ponte Preta, the Meninas da Gávea had a good collective performance and, thanks to Bárbara's great goal, secured the three points with a score of 1-0. The match marked the red-black team's debut in Rio de Janeiro.

Flamengo started well, attacking Ponte Preta. Just two minutes in, Ju advanced well and found Bárbara, whose shot was well saved by the opposing goalkeeper. Pâmela and Rafaela then created good opportunities, but both were blocked by the opposing defenders.

Dominating the attack, Flamengo opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Pâmela made a powerful run down the left and was brought down on the edge of the box. Taking the free kick, Bárbara controlled the ball and fired a beautiful shot into the net, putting Flamengo ahead.

Pressuring the opposition's ball out and positioning themselves well, the Meninas da Gávea didn't face any challenges in the first half and managed to maintain that momentum into the second half. With good opportunities created, the Mais Querido came close to extending their lead on a few occasions but couldn't find the net.

On the other side, Ponte Preta remained defensive and created little, but they ran into goalkeeper Kemelli and the Flamengo defenders when they managed to reach Mengo's box. Despite pressing in the final minutes, the score remained the same, and Flamengo emerged with a solid 1-0 victory.

With the result, Fla adds its first three points and remains in the fight for classification in the Brazilian Championship. Next Wednesday (9), at 15 pm, Flamengo will host Rio Preto. The match will be at home again, at the Gávea stadium, and will have free entry for the red-black fans.
