This Saturday morning (23) was full of goals for women's football. Playing in the second round of the Campeonato Carioca, the Flamengo/Marinha girls beat Cruzeiro FC 7-1 at CEFAN and continue their great campaign in the competition. The goals were scored by Pâmela, twice, Diany, Flávia, Ju, Rayane and Fernanda.

With an attacking lineup, Flamengo/Marinha started the match showing they had only one goal: to score as many goals as possible. Six minutes in, after a rebound in the box, the ball fell to Diany, who made no mistake and sent the ball into the back of the net. After opening the scoring, Flamengo/Marinha pressed on, giving Cruzeiro no chance.

In the 17th minute, forward Pâmela, one of the club's key attacking players, collected the ball in the box and fired a powerful shot to extend the lead. Shortly after, Flávia also scored with a stunning lob, rounding off the first-half scoring.

After the break, Cruzeiro had already scored for the fourth time in the first minute, when Pâmela pounced on a rebound and scored her second goal of the match. In the 7th minute, Ju capitalized on Bárbara's effort and fired a powerful shot that hit the corner of the net. In the very next play, Rayane sent a powerful shot into the back of the net.

Rounding off the Meninas da Gávea's scoring streak, Fernanda, who had come on in the second half, unleashed a powerful shot from distance to score the seventh goal. In the final stretch, Cruzeiro managed to close the gap, and the score was 7-1 for the Mais Querido.

Flamengo/Marinha's next challenge will be against Duque de Caxias, on Wednesday (27), at 15 pm, at the Romário de Souza Faria Stadium, known as Marrentão.
