With a hat trick from Ingrid Santos, Mengão thrashes Real Heips 8-0 in the Under-17 State Championship

In a duel valid for the second round of the Campeonato Carioca Sub-17, on the morning of this Saturday (13), Flamengo took no notice of Real Heips, won 8-0 and maintained its invincibility in the competition. The goals were scored by Ingrid Santos (3), Isabela Nunes, Kaylane Vieira, Lays do Carmo, Millena and Myla.

The game

Knowing they needed a win to stay in the lead, Mais Querido opened the scoring after just four minutes: Laís made a beautiful play and crossed perfectly for Lays do Carmo to head home. In the 11th minute, Ingrid Santos struck hard from outside the box to make it 2-0. The pressure continued, and the third came in the 19th minute, with a beautiful finish from Myla. After the timeout, the pace didn't drop, and the team created good opportunities. In the 35th minute, Bruna went to the baseline and left Ingrid Santos in a good position. The striker caught it first time and gave the goalkeeper no chance: 4-0.

After halftime, the team returned with a few changes, but maintained its attacking edge and increased the lead. In the 22nd minute, Ingrid Santos skillfully converted a penalty kick to score the fifth (her third of the match). The sixth came from Isabela Nunes, with a superb long-range shot. In the 41st minute, Millena pounced on a defensive rebound, lined up, and scored the seventh. In stoppage time, Kaylane Vieira sealed the scoring with a truly stunning goal. The number 16 player received the ball from Isabela Nunes and slotted it into the top corner: 8-0.
