On Wednesday afternoon (29), Flamengo achieved another important victory in the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship. Away from home, at the Francisco Vasques Stadium, Rubro-Negro beat ESMAC-PA 4-0 and remained among the leaders of group C. Mariana Fernandes (3) and Laysa scored the goals.

The game

In the face of heavy rain, Celso Silva's team maintained its characteristic of applying pressure and seeking a goal from the start. Pimenta and Louvain had the first chances, but they were unsuccessful. In the 44th minute, Mariana Fernandes received a pass, outpaced the opponent, and struck a powerful shot to open the scoring and give them a 1-0 lead before halftime. 

In the second half, Isa Cruz made a good save from an early cross-shot, and after Diovanna and Naely came on, the Meninas Da Gávea maintained their dominance without any scares. In the 33rd minute, Laysa was brought down in the penalty area. From the penalty spot, Mariana Fernandes displaced the goalkeeper and extended the lead. Louvain then provided a beautiful pass for Mariana to score her hat trick with a perfect finish. In the 40th minute, Laysa raced down the left flank and sealed the rout with a cross-shot: 4-0.
