In the second round of the Brazilian Women's Under-18 Football Championship, Flamengo faced Vitória/Santa Cruz-PE at the Ademir Cunha stadium, in Paulista. After having the match postponed to this Wednesday (17) due to a partial power outage at the game's venue, the Meninas da Gávea entered with great desire and won 11-0. The goals were scored by Maria Peck (four times), Nilis (three times), Juliana, Vitória, Luisa and Aline (own goal).

With the result, Flamengo adds three more points, reaching four in two games. By goal difference, the red-black team is in first place, tied on points with Vitória-BA. In the next round, the match will be against São Francisco-BA, this Thursday (18), at 10 am, at Arena de Pernambuco, in São Lourenço da Mata (PE).

The game
Flamengo's pressure was intense from the kickoff. Dominating possession in the attacking half, Flamengo had excellent opportunities in attack and soon opened the scoring. In the fifth minute, Juliana took advantage of a poor clearance to score the first goal for Mais Querido. Then, it was Maria Peck's turn to score. In the tenth minute, she broke free from her marker on the right and fired a shot straight into the back of the net.

Maria added another four minutes later. After Larissa's free kick, the wall intercepted the ball, leaving it at the feet of the number 10, who took the goalkeeper out of the play and scored the third. In the 17th minute, it was Vitória's turn to score. Peck's pass led to her bursting into the box and scoring Flamengo's fourth. Further increasing the advantage, Fla went up the left and tried to find Peck in the area, but Aline deflected the ball and scored an own goal.

Even with the score at 6-0, the Mais Querido didn't stop. Pressing forward, Maria Peck scored her hat trick in the fifth minute, taking advantage of a poor clearance. She added another in the 5th minute, when Samara made a good run to the wing and found the number 26 in a good position. Completing the 10-11 rout, Luisa scored a stunning goal from outside the box, and Nilis added two more before the final whistle.
