Due to the competition's protocols, the squad arrived two days before the debut, scheduled for this Wednesday morning (27), against Fortaleza, at 10:30 am. In group E, Rubro-Negro will also face Botafogo and Goiás. The two best advance.
All preparations were carried out at CEFAN. The team returned in November and trained intensively with coach Marcos Gaspar, physical trainer André Cavalcanti, and goalkeeping coach Antonio Bezerra. Only 20 athletes traveled initially.
