Flamengo's moves don't stop. After signing Daiane, Jucinara, Sole Jaimes and Isadora, the club has signed another player who was on the Old Continent. This is Kelly Chiavaro, who wore the Napoli-ITA shirt last season, as well as the Argentine top scorer, announced last Friday (1).

Born in Canada and holding Italian nationality, Chiavaro began her career with Colgate Haiders-USA and played for AS Blainville-CAN before arriving on European soil. Last weekend, the goalkeeper played three matches for the Italian national beach soccer team, all in Euro qualifiers. She will soon report to CEFAN and is very excited about this new challenge.

"I'm very excited to join Mengão and can't wait to meet the team, the staff, and the passionate Nação Rubro-Negra. I can't wait to be in Rio and I'm also motivated to help the team win games and titles. We're going all out to achieve our goals," declared the now number 20 for the red-and-black team.

"Kelly's arrival demonstrates our focus on strengthening the club regardless of the players' nationality. We are attentive to the global market and the opportunities that arise. We know that her arrival requires a period of adaptation due to the climate, the language, and the cuisine, but we believe in her potential and are certain she will play strong football. We will always work to achieve the best for Flamengo, and the fans can rest assured about that," concluded André Rocha, coordinator of the Mais Querido's sport.
