Brazil's historic participation in the U-20 World Cup has come to an end and this Thursday morning (1) was a reunion at CEFAN. Important pieces in the country's best campaign in the competition, which culminated in bronze, Cris and Kaylaine Júnior have returned and are available to the technical committee for training and, consequently, official matches.

While Cris went straight to the professional field and chatted with Mister Luis Andrade,
Kaylaine participated in an activity with the U-20 team, which faces Fluminense this weekend in the state championship. The two took home the medal they won in Costa Rica, shared their experiences, and were warmly celebrated.

"Closing my last year of youth training this way was fantastic. I participated in the entire cycle, and I have no words to describe everything I'm feeling. It's a mix of gratitude and a sense of accomplishment. I'll never forget every detail, and it certainly gives me more motivation to reach the senior team. I'll work hard to get there, but my focus now is here at Flamengo. We have the Carioca and the Ladies Cup ahead of us, and I want to be champion," said Cris.

"We made history. Putting Brazil on the podium after a long time is priceless and unfathomable. It was an incredible and unforgettable journey. I gave my all and I'm proud of the work done by us athletes and the team. We are forever remembered, and I can only thank them. It's good to be back and receive everyone's affection; it's a sign that everyone was rooting for me. I'll keep training hard because I want to compete in the 2024 World Cup. I can't wait to represent Mengão on the field with determination, love, and passion," Kaylaine concluded.
