Dany Helena is elected best striker in the Brasileirão Feminina

In a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the Brazilian Women's Football Championship was awarded for the first time in history as the best of the year. For Flamengo, in addition to the stars of the men's sport, Dany Helena received two trophies for the great year: best attacker and top scorer of the competition.
After receiving the awards, the number 27 of Fla/Marinha celebrated her first year wearing the Sacred Mantle. "It was a very successful year. We had the World Military Games, where we represented the Brazilian Military Team and were champions in the United States. Then we had a good season in the Brazilian Championship, but unfortunately the title didn't come. I believe we had good performances and a good season. We finished by winning the Carioca title, which was something we really wanted. We wanted this treble, but it's part of football. We'll learn from it, and hopefully the title will come next year," said Dany.
The 2018 Brasileirão Awards ceremony was attended by many football personalities, including Marta, six-time World Player of the Year. "It's an honor. Being alongside such great female and male athletes is very rewarding. We work incredibly hard for these moments. It's just a feeling that all the hard work has been rewarded," added Dany Helena.
