We're in the final! This Sunday (18), Flamengo/Marinha hosted Portuguesa in Gávea and won 4-0, sealing their place in the grand final of the Rio de Janeiro Women's Football Championship. The goals were scored by top scorer Dany Helena (three times) and Flávia.

The red-and-black team already knows its opponent in the fight for its fourth championship. In the other semifinal, Duque de Caxias defeated Vasco on penalties (2-2 in normal time; 5-4 in penalty kicks) and closes the fight for the cup. The match will be next Saturday (24), with the location and time yet to be determined.

In the first minute, the Meninas da Gávea's top scorer of the year scored again. After a cross into the box, Dany Helena appeared well and headed in, opening the scoring. She found the net again in the 29th minute, when Fernanda took a corner kick and, once again with a header, extended the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, Flamengo continued to apply intense pressure, rarely allowing Portuguesa to get past their midfield. In the seventh minute, Flávia received the ball at the edge of the box and fired a powerful shot, only to see the ball find the back of the net. Completing the victorious afternoon, Dany once again appeared well-positioned in the box and, after a beautiful cross from Gaby, scored another goal, sealing the 7-4 rout.
