Flamengo/Marinha returned to the field on Wednesday afternoon (9) to face Rio Preto in Gávea. With a goal from Dany Helena in the first half, the Meninas da Gávea ended up drawing and the score was 1-1. The match was valid for the third round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship.

With this result, Mais Querido has one win, one draw and one defeat in three games played, totaling four points in the competition.

The red-and-blacks pressed hard from the first minute of the match. Despite their strong offensive play, Flamengo also faced pressure from their opponents, and the match was evenly matched from start to finish. With good chances created mainly by Ju and Rayanne, the Meninas da Gávea managed to open the scoring in the 39th minute, when Bia took a free kick into the box and Dany Helena appeared alone to head a stunning goal into the net.

With the advantage, Flamengo came out of the blocks and saw Rio Preto equalize after just five minutes. To further complicate things for Flamengo/Marinha, Bia received a red card after a refereeing error, which issued the first yellow card for a misunderstanding between the linesman and the referee, and the second for a questionable foul. Thus, Flamengo was left with a ten-man player after 5 minutes.

The Mais Querido continued to apply intense pressure and managed to deny Rio Preto's good chances. Towards the end, Dany Helena burst into the box and was fouled hard, but the referee allowed play to continue. Thus, the match ended 1-1.

The next game for the Meninas da Gávea is scheduled for Thursday (17), at 20 pm, against Foz Cataratas at the Pedro Basso stadium, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
