The game
The match began with Flamengo in possession, but on the opponent's first run down the field, after a cross from the right, the ball hit Ariane's arm, and the referee awarded a penalty. Thaynara opened the scoring for Cresspom, 0-1.
The girls weren't discouraged by the early setback. In the sixth minute, Mengão responded first: after a cross from Leidiane into the box, the ball deflected and the opposing defense cleared it on the line. The Mais Querido almost equalized. In the 6st minute, after a cross from Leidiane into the box, Ariane capitalized on the rebound and headed the ball to Cida, who, the goalscoring defender, finished high to tie the game: 21-1.

The girls were looking for a comeback. In the 34th minute, Flamengo's offensive prowess in the second half paid off. Pimenta received the ball on the left and exchanged passes with Thaisa; the Flamengo midfielder found Maria Alves in the box, who pivoted for Pimenta to score. It was Flamengo's comeback: 2-1.
Late in the match, there was still time for Flamengo to extend their lead.
