Flamengo comes from behind to beat Santos 3-2 in the Brazilian Women's Under-18 Championship
Duda Rodrigues, Maria Peck, and Kaylane Júnior scored the goals. Despite the victory, Rubro-Negro did not qualify for the next round.

In the third round of the Brazilian Women's Under-18 Championship, Flamengo beat Santos 3-2 on Friday afternoon (20), at CT Sorocaba-SP. Duda Rodrigues, Maria Peck and Kaylane Júnior scored the red-black goals in the match. Despite the victory, the Meninas da Gávea were unable to advance to the next stage and ended their participation in the championship.
The game
The match started evenly, with intense competition for possession. With a high defense, the Meninas da Gávea stole possession in the attacking half and exchanged passes, looking for space to reach the opponent's box.
In the 14th minute, Isa Viana opened the scoring for Santos after a rebound from a penalty kick: 1-0. The São Paulo team scored when Flamengo was playing better. In the 30th minute, Mengão leveled the score. Mariana Fernandes arrived well on the right and crossed into the box. Duda Rodrigues, in the six-yard box, finished into the net: 1-1. The first half ended in a draw.
At the start of the second half, Santos took the lead again on the scoreboard thanks to a penalty kick from Goiás: 2-1. In the 30th minute, Maria Peck scored a beautiful shot from outside the box and tied the match again: 2-2.
In the final minutes, Mengão managed to turn the game around with a great goal from Kaylane Júnior: 3-2. Despite the victory, the Meninas da Gávea were eliminated from the competition.
