Heading to the final! Flamengo beat Real Brasília 3-2 on Wednesday night (8), at the Luso-Brasileiro stadium, in the semifinals of the Women's Super Cup. Mengão's goals were scored by Duda and Sole Jaimes. The girls from Gávea face Corinthians or Internacional in the final.

The game
The Gávea Girls started the match looking to attack. Just three minutes in, they created their first scoring chance. Jucinara crossed into the box, and Sole Jaimes almost got the ball in. In the 7th minute, Real Brasília opened the scoring with their first attack. Karla Alves controlled the ball inside the box and fired it home: 0-1.

The red-and-black team struggled to create chances in the attacking half. Little by little, the Meninas da Gávea began to reach the opponent's box more, but their finishing was lacking. In the 34th minute, Crivelari received the ball in the box and attempted a well-placed shot. The ball sailed just wide of the post. Flamengo grew in the final stretch of the first half.

So much so that in the 42nd minute, she leveled the score with Duda! Crivelari's shot was saved by the goalkeeper. On the rebound, Jucinara tapped it in for the number 10 to fire home the ball and swell the net for the Luso-Brazilian team: 1-1. This was the midfielder's third goal of the competition. The teams went into halftime tied.

In the first minute of the second half, the Mais Querido (Most Beloved) turned the game around! Maria Alves received the ball deep and crossed to Sole Jaimes. The Argentine forward showed opportunism and finished for the goal: 2-1.

Shortly thereafter, in the 11th minute, Mengão extended their lead again through Sole Jaimes. After a mistake by Real Brasília when clearing the ball, the forward saw the goalkeeper out of position and chipped the ball over the bar, scoring a beautiful goal: 3-1. Three minutes later, Real pulled one back through Gaby Soares: 3-2.

Throughout the second half, the red-and-black team continued to create chances and could have extended their lead. With the victory, the Meninas da Gávea secured a spot in the Women's Super Cup final for the first time.
