Flamengo's sixth women's football signing for the season is midfielder Driely, who is coming off some great seasons with Botafogo and has signed a contract with the club until December 2026. She will be introduced to the group during the week, along with the other new faces.
Born in Formosa, Goiás, the athlete rose to prominence at Cresspom-DF, then played for Foz Cataratas and Iranduba-AM alongside some of the players currently playing for the club, such as Djeni and Monalisa. She then played for Corinthians and São Paulo before arriving in Rio de Janeiro in 2020, where she gained further prominence and achieved outstanding performances.
Known for being a marking and intelligent midfielder, Driely is extremely feisty and her main characteristic is her playmaking ability, as well as her excellent aim from outside the box. In a quick chat, the "Girl from Gávea" spoke about her expectations.
"I feel honored to have the opportunity to play for a giant club like Flamengo, which is a benchmark and known worldwide. I'm happy, motivated, and eager to get back on the field. I hope for a 2025 full of achievements for us," she said.
