Flamengo's U-20 team continues to make history in the 2022 season. On Saturday afternoon (17), at CEFAN, the Meninas da Gávea thrashed Real Heips 12-0, winning the title of the first edition of the Taça Guanabara (name given to the first phase) and securing the home field advantage in the semifinal of the Campeonato Carioca Feminino in the category. The goals were scored by Anny Marabá (3), Ingrid Santos (2), Tuane (2), Diovanna, Kaylane Vieira, Kethilyn, Letícia and Mariana Fernandes.

The game

Mengão started the match with a vicious pressure, suffocating the opponent, who couldn't get past the halfway line. After so much persistence, the team opened the scoring in the 17th minute: Diovanna made a beautiful play down the left and crossed perfectly for Anny Marabá to score. The second came soon after, with captain Mariana Fernandes' low shot. In the 32nd minute, Kethilyn launched a pass, and Diovanna scored a stunning goal, chipping the ball over the goalkeeper: 3-0. In the 37th minute, Letícia pounced on a rebound and scored the fourth, and before halftime, Mariana Fernandes dribbled past the baseline and put Anny Marabá in the driving seat: 5-0.

In the second half, in the fourth minute, Yasmin Maciel took a corner kick and Tuane headed it firmly: 6-0. Kethilyn then took a long-range shot, and the ball went into the corner: 7-0. The eighth and ninth goals came from the feet of forward Ingrid Santos, who started for the first time and capitalized on the opportunity. In the 33rd minute, Diovanna disrupted the Heips defense, and Anny Marabá reached her hat trick. In the 37th minute, Laís provided a great assist, and Tuane made no mistake. The final goal came from young Kaylane Vieira, with a stunning shot from outside the box: 12-0. After the final whistle, the athletes celebrated wildly and lifted the unprecedented trophy.
