Balanced confrontation
The 2015 Women's Copa Libertadores champion, Ferroviária, will face Flamengo/Marinha again after being eliminated in the Brasileirão semifinals last year. The teams have faced each other twice, with each team winning once.

After a home defeat in their debut, the São Paulo team managed to recover and came from a 1-0 victory against Foz Cataratas/Coritiba.
