Without taking to the field in the first round of the Campeonato Carioca Feminino due to Barcelona's absence, Flamengo will debut in the competition on Wednesday morning (7). At CT SAFERJ, in Guaratiba, the team led by Luis Andrade will face Fluminense, at 10 am. The match will be broadcast live on FlaTV and FlaTV+, starting at 9:30 am, and entry for fans is free.

Six-time champions (2015, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21), the Mais Querido is in Group B, along with America, Duque de Caxias, Pérolas Negras, Portuguesa, Rio de Janeiro and Vasco. Initially, the teams will face their opponents in Group A, which are Brasileirinho, Botafogo, Cabofriense, Fluminense, Rio São Paulo and Serra Macaense. The top eight teams advance to the quarterfinals.

In the last training session before the duel, at CEFAN, Mister Luis Andrade analyzed the panorama and revealed Mengão's main motivation in the tournament.

- Anyone who plays for Flamengo must always think about winning, regardless of the competition. We are title contenders, but that doesn't guarantee anything. We will work hard and demonstrate this on the field with humility, determination, and hard work. We need to honor the Sacred Mantle, as we represent a giant institution. The pressure is the same, and we always play to win. We are focused on being champions," he said.
