Project evaluation
It's great to have the opportunity to explain what we're doing. Everything is done step by step, in a long process. President Rodolfo Landim has been very supportive, especially regarding the youth academy, created in 2019. We found a scenario where Flamengo wasn't having much participation, so we decided it was time, that the Club had to take the lead. It's the Manto on the field, and we work to never lose.
Development
We started the women's soccer academy with a tryout, and three months later, we competed in the Brazilian Championship and finished fifth. It was a step in understanding what we could achieve. In the meantime, we had an athlete called up to the national team (Maria Peck), and we sought to improve the overall structure. To summarize the academy's history, we currently have a squad with nine athletes who have worn the yellow jersey. In our work, the motto is "Flamengo makes stars at home."
Investment in the modality
We always meet our budget. We look for ways to increase it, and to do so, we started working hard with the media, FlaTV... We had a wonderful broadcast at the last State Championship. The Communications and Marketing departments have been great partners. We're in 2021, which is our big transition year, and we've managed to accomplish everything we had planned back then. Growth is gradual, but we've already brought back Rayanne and brought in what is, to date, our biggest investment: Darlene. Today, we have BRB, Sócios.com, MOSS, and we'll fight for titles in 2022. Our benchmark is the men's league; after all, great results generate more resources. We have to understand that women's soccer is a business. I'm not just talking about Flamengo, but all of Brazilian soccer. Our fight is always to increase the expected return.
Women's football department
As part of our project, we needed to create the department. We did, and we have technical, administrative, and medical coordination. In other words, we are working effectively with our great partner, the Navy. The Navy currently provides us with excellent infrastructure and security. We work together toward the same goal: to win everything. That's the goal.

Our coaching staff monitors games, championships, and the market, but we'll never forget the tryouts. We started this way, and we'll announce a new one soon. We hope to recruit good athletes to put on the development path.
Support for social projects
This is a very important thing. We are an incredible brand and support three exclusive women's soccer social projects, where we help with materials, knowledge sharing, etc. Professionals also attend our training sessions, and we want children to seek out these projects. They are fundraising hubs.
2022
We've already entered the Campeonato Carioca with a different lineup. This year, as I mentioned before, is a transitional year. We set goals and achieved them. Fans can rest assured that our planning is moving forward. We'll do a lot of exciting things in 2022.
