The game
Flamengo's first chance came in the tenth minute: Jucinara's free kick flew past everyone in the box. In the 21st minute, Fabi Simões received the ball from Glaucia and crossed perfectly for Cristiane to almost open the scoring. After the timeout, the match remained even, and the Meninas da Gávea only really threatened in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper saved Crivelari's shot, and the score was level before halftime: 0-0.

In the second half, Rubro-Negro pressed from the start and scored in the seventh minute. After a corner kick from Glaucia, Crivelari found the net: 1-0. In the 13th minute, Cristiane crossed the ball, and Glaucia narrowly missed extending the lead with a sliding tackle. The second goal came in the 16th minute: Glaucia made a beautiful play, Crivelari set it up, and Djeni scored a stunning goal.

Even with the lead, Mengão continued to attack and create several opportunities. In the 32nd minute, Fluminense pulled one back through Verônica, but Maurício Salgado's team managed the result and added three more points in the competition: 2-1.
