Last weekend, Flamengo held a women's soccer festival in partnership with Vale, a sponsor of the Flamengo youth team through the Sports Incentive Law. The tournament included under-13, under-15, and under-17 teams, featuring both a field and an indoor arena.  

The event took place in Marabá, Pará, at Estação Conhecimento, and featured futsal and soccer tournaments for more than 220 girls up to 17 years old—including Indigenous youth from nearby villages. Additionally, club members taught a coach training course for 55 physical education professionals from the region.

"We were surprised by the welcome we received from the city of Marabá; everywhere our committee went, the affection for the Club was evident. The presence of women in the training course was very important; they represented half of the class. Finally, the girls played futsal and soccer for two days, which was excellent. We had the opportunity to evaluate their performance during very competitive matches," said André Rocha, Flamengo's women's soccer manager.

The initiative's main objective was to promote the sport, one of the main pillars of the Rubro-Negro project involving the Meninas da Gávea, seeking to strengthen the base of women's football in the country.
