In the fifth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Flamengo beat Bahia 1-0 on Sunday night (2), in Pituaçu-BA. The Mais Querido's goal was scored by Raquel, just six minutes into the first half. With the result, the Meninas da Gávea won their first victory in the championship.

The game
The first half started fairly evenly, with Mengão taking the lead after just six minutes. Following a corner kick, Raquel rose highest and headed home a 1-0 header. With the lead, the red-and-black team pressed forward, making it difficult for Bahia to get the ball out.

In the 21st minute, Flamengo almost got their second! Raquel fired a cross, and Bahia's defense cleared it off the line. The final part of the first half saw the game become quite tight in midfield, with a lot of back-and-forth. The Meninas da Gávea went into halftime ahead.

In the second half, Bahia began to attack more and went on the attack in search of an equalizer. Flamengo, for their part, continued to defend well and managed to neutralize the Bahian team's attacks. In the 24th minute, goalkeeper Kaká excelled and saved a penalty, preventing the home team from equalizing.

In the final stretch, the match heated up and gained in intensity. Bahia launched its attack, while the Mais Querido managed to hold on at the back. In the 42nd minute, Flávia hit the post with a beautiful free kick. The red-and-black team controlled the game in the final minutes and left the field with their first victory of the championship.
