The first new addition to Flamengo's women's football team for the current season is a name well known to the Red-Black Nation: Ju FerreiraThe midfielder, a Brazilian champion with the club, is back after excelling at Corinthians and Internacional. She signed until the end of 2026 and will report soon.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Ju gained notoriety in the sporting scene wearing the Sacred Mantle between 2015 and 2019. During that time, she actively participated in all of the Mais Querido's victories and was even called up to the national team. A midfielder with excellent defensive and offensive skills, the athlete is very feisty and has passing as one of her main strengths. 

The return home - now more experienced and with two Libertadores won, including being a highlight in the last one - is directly linked to the desire to win new titles for Mengão and contribute to the project.

"I'm very happy to be returning to Flamengo after a few years. I was very happy here, and when I received the offer, I didn't hesitate and accepted. I can't wait to step onto the field and defend the Sacred Mantle again with passion and dedication. The nation can be sure that I will give my all to help the club win titles," said the new number 28.
