Flamengo signs seven new women's football signings
Annaysa, Carlinha, Dantas, Edna Baiana, Jayanne, Kelly and Michele Carioca arrive to reinforce the club

Before their debut in the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo signed six players to join the main squad: Annaysa, Carlinha, Dantas, Edna Baiana, Kelly, and Michele Carioca. The new Meninas da Gávea signed contracts, have already introduced themselves to the coaching staff, and have been incorporated into the squad. Jayanne is also new, the only one arriving through the Navy's call for applications.
"It's a time of renewal and restructuring, and we're making new signings to strengthen the squad. Our goal is to improve the quality of the team and continue investing. In addition to the new arrivals, we've promoted two girls from the U-18 team, where we've already had players called up to the national team. This shows that we've been working hard to grow the sport at the club. We'll have a full calendar in 2020 and we want to win titles," said Vitor Zanelli, Vice President of Youth Football.
