In a game of the ninth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Flamengo went to Belo Horizonte and beat América-MG, 2-1, on Monday night (6), at Arena Independência. With two goals from Cristiane, the Meninas da Gávea won their third consecutive victory and are already in sixth place in the championship with 14 points.

The game
In the opening minutes of the match, Flamengo maintained possession in the attacking half and immediately sought the first goal. In the eighth minute, the Meninas da Gávea created their first clear chance. A corner kick in the box fell to Cristiane, who struck, and the ball sailed just wide of the goalkeeper's left post.

In the 18th minute, another good move from the red-and-black team. Duda intercepted a ball in midfield, played a one-two with Cristiane, burst into the box from the left, and struck hard. The goalkeeper cleared it for a corner. Glaucia then delivered a beautiful pass to Gisseli, who burst into the box and fired over the goal.

After the goal, the Meninas da Gávea continued to value possession and faced little threat from América. In the final minutes, the Mais Querido managed the result well and left the field with their third consecutive victory in the competition.
